1Overview
Block Puzzle Master ("the app," "we," "us") is a block-placement puzzle game. This policy applies to the app across Classic, Daily Challenge, and Adventure modes, and to the version distributed on Google Play (and any other store we later publish to).
In short: the app doesn't ask you to create an account, doesn't collect your name, email, or any personal information, and doesn't access your contacts, camera, microphone, or location. Your scores and progress are saved only on your own device. The one third-party service the app uses is Google AdMob, to show ads — details on exactly what that involves are in Section 4.
2Information we don't collect
The app has no login, no chat or social features, and requests no device permissions beyond internet access (see Section 5). Specifically, we never ask for or access:
Not collected by the app
- ✕Name, email address, or phone number
- ✕Precise or coarse location
- ✕Camera, microphone, or photo library
- ✕Contacts or other apps on your device
- ✕Payment or financial information
Stored, but only on your device
- ✓High score & games played
- ✓Sound / music preferences
- ✓Daily Challenge & Adventure progress
- ✓Your in-progress game, so you can resume it
3Information stored on your device
To remember your progress between sessions, the app keeps a small local database on your device (using an on-device storage library called Hive). This data is never uploaded to a server we operate, and we have no way to see it. It contains:
- Your high score and total games played
- Total lines cleared, used for lifetime stats and Daily Challenge / Adventure objective tracking
- Sound and music on/off preferences
- Daily Challenge completion streak
- Adventure Mode level progress
- A snapshot of any game you exit mid-session, so you can pick up where you left off (Resume Game)
- Whether you've already used your one free Extra Life for the current run
This information stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in your device's Settings → Apps → Block Puzzle Master → Storage, permanently deletes it. We cannot recover it for you, because we never had a copy.
4Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is supported by ads served through Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK), in three places:
| Ad type | When it appears |
|---|---|
| Banner | A small, fixed ad strip at the bottom of the Home and Play screens. |
| Interstitial | A full-screen ad shown occasionally when you return to the Home screen from a game. |
| Rewarded | Optional — only if you choose "Extra Life" after a Game Over, in exchange for watching a short video. |
To select, serve, and measure these ads, Google and its advertising partners may process technical and advertising data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, approximate location inferred from IP address, and how you interact with an ad. This processing is carried out by Google as described in Google's own policies, not by us directly:
5App permissions
Block Puzzle Master requests exactly one Android permission:
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Required to request and display ads via Google AdMob. Not used for anything else. |
No other permission — location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or notifications — is requested at install or run time.
6Children's privacy
Block Puzzle Master does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app itself collects no personal information from any player, of any age, as described in Section 2.
Because the app shows ads via Google AdMob, if you believe this app may be used by, or directed at, children under 13 (or the relevant age of consent in your region), we configure AdMob's ad requests accordingly (for example, requesting non-personalized ads and applying Google's child-directed treatment / ad content filtering settings) so that ad serving complies with COPPA and similar regulations.
7Data sharing & sale
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data — we don't collect any to begin with. We do not operate any server that stores player accounts, scores, or gameplay data. The only outside party involved in the app at all is Google, acting as an independent service provider for advertising as described in Section 4.
8Data security
Because your progress is stored only on your device rather than transmitted to servers we control, its protection depends on your device's own security (screen lock, OS-level app sandboxing, and encryption where your device provides it). Since we never receive or store this data ourselves, there is no server-side database of player information that could be breached on our end.
9Your choices
- Clear your local data — uninstall the app, or go to Settings → Apps → Block Puzzle Master → Storage → Clear storage on your device.
- Turn sound or music off — from the in-app Settings menu; this preference is saved locally.
- Opt out of personalized ads — on Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads and turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization," or reset your advertising ID from the same screen.
- Requests about data Google processes — because that processing is Google's, not ours, requests to access or delete it are handled through Google's own privacy controls.
10International users
The app is available globally. Because AdMob operates a global advertising network, the limited technical and advertising data described in Section 4 may be processed in countries other than the one you're playing in, under Google's own cross-border safeguards.
11Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if a new feature changes what data is involved — we'll update this page and change the "Effective" date at the top. We encourage checking back occasionally. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
